Mac Something Special Blusher

Hi Guys,

Finally a beauty related post! Sorry for the lack of them but there hasn't been much recently that has grabbed me and I have really enjoyed writing and creating outfit and lifestyle posts I just can't write something I am not interested in. But this blush has changed that streak and I had to share it with you! Now I have a confession this is my first ever creme blusher, I some how have not been sucked in my the topshop creme blushes that everyone raves about and after using my friends limited edition Lilicent Mac Blusher (drool) I felt I needed one in my life!

Something special is a gorgeous peachy pink colour perfect for spring and the current nice weather we are having as it is perfect for achieving that natural summer glow look! The last photo is the best representation of the colour as it is really hard to photograph and I am sorry for the finger marks in it but I couldn't wait to wear it so took the photos afterwards oops. This blush is lovely and creamy it blends so well you can really build it up I find it is best applied using your fingers as it gives a more natural look and is easier to get the correct amount. First applied this blush gives of a glow on your cheeks but once it sets it turns into a matte blusher and looks so nice teamed with a highligher.

I really like this blusher and it has been my go to one while the weather has been hot. Have any of you tried this blusher?

  1. This looks really pretty. I love MAC blushes but have never tried any of their cream ones...which is odd, because I really like cream blushes! Might have to get my hands on this one soon, but will have to restrain myself for a bit as I have just ordered Mac's mineralize blush in 'Dainty' from Ebay!
