This post has been stashed away in my drafts for about 10 days now and even thought it is still technically Autumn it feels more like winter these days, however I will still be rocking these blushers in winter!
As soon as the air starts turning crisp and the leaves begin to fall, I start switching up my make up which means the coral and peach blushes are stashed away for another year, and the dusty pinks and berries appear. For my skin tone peach blushers just do not look right when it isn't sunny, I'm not really sure why, but I know some people can still rock a peach cheek in winter, so I am in no way saying you must all change your blusher asap! My first favourite is Nars Deep Throat a blusher that is pretty popular in the old bloggin' world. It is describe as a flirty sheer peach, I personally find it leans more pink on my cheeks than it does peach, like it appears in the first photo. It has tiny speckles of gold shimmer running through it, and it feels really lovely and creamy so it is easy to blend, and the colour lasts nearly all day on me. You can see me wearing it here and it is true love!
My next favourite, Mac Super Wonder which is sadly limited edition, I got when it was first released a few months ago and I am ashamed to say used it about twice. Since sorting out my collection I re discovered it which was good timing as I was toying in my mind whether to buy Nars Sin, but In reality I don't need anymore blushers and should wear what I have. Technically this is a skin finish, but it should obviously be used as a blusher otherwise you'd have a very pink face haha! I swirl this all together to achieve a gorgeous plummy pink, with small gold shimmer. I don't love loads of shimmer but this skin finish has just the right amount so when I am in a hurry I can skip highlighting and chuck this on. Colour pay off is really good, so you can build this up depending on the look you are going for. You can see a full review here and wearing it here.
So what are your favourite blushers for Autumn/Winter?
