Day Dreaming in Holland Park

A few snaps outside my new home in Holland Park.... haha I blooming wish! On Sunday I decided to take a stroll through Holland Park my ultimate favourite place to day dream in the whole of London. The houses are absolutely beautiful, each street is perfect not an over grown bush in sight ( didn't sound so bad in my head haha.) It might sound odd to some but whenever I feel a bit lost in life or uninspired I like to walk round Holland Park to remind myself to keep working hard, the things you truly want don't come easily it is my way of knuckling down. Now I don't live in the clouds too much me owning a £10 million property is very unlikely ( I do buy a lottery ticket just incase) but I do hope to one day own something equally as pretty.

For the walk I only thought it was appropriate to wear the most Chelsea-esq item I own being my Topshop fedora and I will let you into a secret my Kenzo inspired jumper is from the mens section in Zara!! Sometimes it pays being dragged around the mens section! I added a bit of glam with my birthday shoes from last year which I utterly adore but my god are they uncomfortable it is as if the strap has teeth, they tear your feet to pieces. They look pretty though right? I'd sacrifice a toe or two for them haha!

How do you keep yourself inspired? Where is your favourite place in London?

Hoppin' into Spring

Yep the title is correct on Saturday I hopped and bounded into the arms of spring like it was a long lost friend. Off went my coat ( maybe a little premature), on went the sunglasses and off to sunny London I went.

Now this scarf is the marmite item of my wardrobe, it got mixed reviews from my work colleagues when I bought it spur of the moment one lunch time but for me it was love at first sight. Coming from a girl who rarely wears anything but black I have thrown myself in the deep end with neons here, I never do do things by halves! The print made me instantly think of Louis Vuitton's leopard style scarves and I thought it is an easy way to jazz up sometimes boring all black outfits. I always find it funny how a certain item of clothing can just give you a vision, as soon as I saw this scarf I thought of being in Rome on a spring day with the sun out but a cold breeze, Rayban aviators on, a nude lip and parka coat. Too much of a daydreamer? Most probably!

Did you get to enjoy the sunshine? What are your honest thoughts on this scarf? Something you would wear or too bright?
