Bouncin' spring polishes

IMG_1329

Now spring has officially sprung I have taken great satisfaction with finally putting my dark nail varnishes away and being able to wear lighter shades without seeming majorly out of place! Essie Fiji has always been a firm favourite of mine I think it was the only shade to grace my nails last year, I love it so much in fact that this is my second bottle. Yes you heard me right I, Ellie May, finished a whole bottle of nail polish! The impossible is possible ladies if you put your mind and 10 toes & fingers to it ;).

A second favourite which is seems to get easily forgotten in the blogging world is Essie Absolutely shore. This is a gorgeous soft pastel green colour, with quite a lot of white in it so it is not so in your face like Essie Mint candy apple so it makes it more acceptable for day to day working/corporate life.   The only thing about this polish is you need about 3/4 coats to get it to the colour I have achieved above but the extra time and patience is totally worth it! In my head I have a vision of this on my toes while I am dangling my feet into the sea while sitting on a boat..... seems highly unlikely considering I am petrified of the sea but nice dream right?

What are your favourite polishes for spring? Have you got either of these in your collection?

  4. These colours look so lovely! Sadly I cant really pull off pale pastels, they just don't really go with my skin tone. So instead I stick to nudes like Nails Inc Porchester Square! Its still nice and light for spring :) Great post, thanks for sharing!
